Sonakshi Sinha copies Madhuri Dixit Steps

Bollywood Dashing star Sonakshi Senha going to copy the Legend of Hindi Cinema Madhuri Dixit for upcoming film "Oh My God" item song, she maches the steps with Prabhudheva. Sonakshi, who worked with Prabhudheva before in recently super-hit, bluckbuster Rowdy Rathore.
In 2000, Madhuri Dixit and Prabhudheva set the screen ablaze with their song "Hay Ky sera sera" in Pukar. The duo, both iconic dancers, also performed the moonwalk in the six-and-half minute number. And now, 12 years later, Prabhudheva will repeat the feat, dancing with Sonakshi Sinha, for an item number in Oh My God.
This makes Sonakshi the only female actor, apart from Madhuri, who Prabhudheva has danced with in a Hindi film. The song, which will release on August 5, is a special Janmashtami number and has been choreographed by the actor-director himself.
Sonakshi Sinha says about matching steps with the South star, “It was fantastic. When he’s in the same frame as you, it’s really difficult. There’s not much you can do in a situation like that but pull up your socks and give it your best. With him, the bar is set very, very high.” So, will the song be an exact replica of Madhuri’s number? Sonakshi says, “Not completely. The song from Pukar and this are completely different. Besides, this one is being based on a Janmashtami theme.”
Naturally, the Dabangg (2010) and Rowdy Rathore (2012) star is delighted to be a part of this song, but matching up to Madhuri’s level couldn’t have been an easy task. Sonakshi reveales, “Being compared to Madhuri is the biggest compliment I could ever get. She’s definitely an inspiration. I genuinely believe that she’s the best dancer to have graced the Hindi film industry.”
